About the Society

The Central Texas Society of Clinical Hypnosis is a component society of the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis, founded in 1957 by Milton Erickson, M.D.

The organization was founded in 1992 and is headquartered in Austin, and programs are available statewide, nationally and internationally.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, CTSCH transitioned its quarterly meetings into virtual webinars. These webinars provide training sessions on various hypnosis and related topics, with recordings available for members’ viewing. The annual membership fee is $85, which grants access to all quarterly meetings and recorded training materials during the calendar year for no additional cost..

Non-members can view our scheduled quarterly presentations for $45, while graduate students can attend for $10. The annual membership offers a significant value,, as it provides access to all meetings, including continuing education credits for Texas social workers, LPCs, LMFTs, and psychologists, and ASCH accreditation for membership and certification requirements. CTSCH welcomes licensed health and mental health professionals with a graduate degree, and graduate students enrolled in clinical training programs.

Available training resources include quarterly webinars with prominent national and international experts, on-demand recordings of those webinars, and programs such as the upcoming Level One clinical hypnosis training taught by Anita Jung.
